The Importance of Membership Renewal
Each year after August 1, we will update our database of members from the State Bar's database. Those who were previously associate members of Oil, Gas & Energy Resources Law Section who have not paid dues for the new year (starting the previous June 1) will, through the database update, automatically be deleted from the members database. To be added back again, simply pay your dues to the State Bar Sections, send an email to webmaster@oilgas.org, and log back in as a new member.
Associate Membership
Associate Members may not and shall not vote on any business of the Section and may not and shall not be elected to or serve on the Council of the Section. Associate Members may not and shall not be elected to or hold any officer position of the Section. Associate Members may not and shall not hold themselves out as being members of the State Bar of Texas or make any representation that they are licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
